• Community Council Vacancy
Community Councils are the link between the community and the County Council and an important part of local democracy.  If you have a little energy, a lot of enthusiasm and a desire to give something back to your      village, then please get in touch to find out more.  Everyone is welcome but, we are acutely aware that our current Council has hardly any representation from the women or younger people within the community.  You can email clerk@llangain.cymru or telephone Susan Holmes on  07384 399 930  for further details.
• 95th Birthdays                                                                                                                                                                                              Since the Millennium the community council has implemented a policy of acknowledging any persons in the community reaching their 95^th birthday.  In such a small community it is unlikely that we would have a centenarian any time soon unlike in a town or county w here the relevant council acknowledges the 100^th birthday.  If anyone knows of such a pending birthday at any time please let the council know discreetly either by email clerk@llangain.cymru or telephone Susan Holmes on  07384 399 930  or contact a councillor.
